On July 24-25, 2024, Professor Dr. Zakariya Hama, Director of the Center for Islamic Economics and Finance at the Faculty of Islamic Sciences, Prince of Songkla University, was invited to represent Thailand at the ASEAN Shariah Committee and Shariah Advisors Seminar for Islamic Financial Institutions held in Lombok, Indonesia. On this occasion, Professor Dr. Zakariya Hama was invited to present on the topic "Research and Fatwas Related to Islamic Finance in Thailand." The seminar was attended by more than 300 participants, including Shariah committee members, Shariah advisors from Islamic financial institutions in ASEAN countries, scholars, and interested parties.
