FaIS, PSU Welcomes PSMZA Delegation for Discussions on Academic, Research, and Student Exchange Cooperation
On February 7, 2025, the Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences, along with the Assistant Dean for International Affairs and Academic Services, welcomed a delegation of administrators and faculty members from Polytechnic of Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin (PSMZA), Terengganu, Malaysia. The delegation was led by Ts. Dr. Mohd Hafizil Bin Mat Yasin, Deputy Director of Academic Support. This visit further strengthens the ongoing collaboration between Prince of Songkla University (PSU) and PSMZA, following previous online meetings between the two institutions.
During the meeting, the Faculty of Islamic Sciences presented its approaches to academic activities, research, and community service, which were met with great interest from the PSMZA representatives. PSMZA expressed interest in sending students to participate in a 14-day short-term exchange program at the Faculty of Islamic Sciences and is also considering sending students for a one-semester exchange program under a collaboration initiative at PSU Pattani Campus.
Furthermore, both institutions expressed their enthusiasm to continue expanding academic cooperation in other areas in the future, Insha’Allah.
