Faculty of Islamic Sciences Welcomes FMS PSU Hat Yai and IBIK Indonesia to Strengthen International Academic Collaboration



On August 13, 2025, at 4:00 p.m., at the Imam Al-Ghazali Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, the Faculty of Islamic Sciences, Prince of Songkla University, Pattani Campus, led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Muhammadroflee Waehama, Dean, along with the International Affairs Office, warmly welcomed faculty members and students from the Faculty of Management Sciences (FMS) at PSU Hat Yai Campus. The delegation also included graduate students from Institut Bisnis & Informatika Kesatuan (IBIK), Indonesia, who visited the Faculty for an academic exchange and campus tour.

The visit provided a valuable opportunity to share academic knowledge and teaching practices, with a particular interest in the field of Islamic Business Innovation. This interest was especially strong as the visiting institution has a similar academic foundation and expertise in business, enabling fruitful discussions on curriculum development and collaborative initiatives. The meeting also fostered the expansion of international academic networks to enhance mutual understanding and equip students with broader competencies.

Both parties explored potential joint activities in the future, aiming to elevate academic cooperation between the two institutions and their respective countries, while providing a platform for students and faculty members to engage in meaningful cross-cultural experiences — In shaa Allah.
