FaIS Welcomes Delegation from IIUM Malaysia to Strengthen Academic Collaboration



Faculty of Islamic Sciences, Prince of Songkla University (FaIS PSU), led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Roflee Waehama, Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences, together with Prof. Dr. Ibrahem Narongraksakhet, Member of the University Council, and Dr. Aris Hassama, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Student Potential Development, extended a warm welcome to Prof. Dr. Nurul Fadzlin Hasbullah, Assistant Vice President for Academic and International Affairs from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), and her delegation on the occasion of their visit to the Faculty.









The visit included representatives from various faculties and aimed to strengthen and continue the long-standing academic collaboration between the two institutions, which has spanned several decades. On this occasion, the Dean presented an overview of the development of academic cooperation between the Faculty of Islamic Sciences and IIUM, including student exchange programs, academic seminars, and mutual academic advisory collaborations. Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Narongraksakhet further noted that the Faculty has continuously received academic and personnel support from IIUM, particularly from Almarhum Professor Emeritus Tan Sri Dr. Mohd Kamal Hassan, former Rector of IIUM, throughout his tenure.





Prof. Dr. Nurul Fadzlin Hasbullah expressed her sincere appreciation for the warm hospitality extended by the Faculty and reaffirmed her commitment to further strengthening academic cooperation between the two institutions in the future. She also conveyed her willingness to consider admitting students from the Islamic Sciences Demonstration School into various faculties at IIUM, should they wish to pursue their studies there.
