Students from the Faculty of Islamic Sciences Participate in a Student Mobility Program at Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia
Earlier today (November 28, 2024), the Faculty of Islamic Sciences (FaIS), Prince of Songkla University, conducted a student exchange program under the Student Mobility initiative in collaboration with Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM). The event occurred at the Fakulti Pagnajian Bahasa Utama Conference Hall, USIM, Malaysia. The program was attended by the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs and Alumni Relations, faculty members, and students to foster academic, extracurricular, and cultural collaboration between the two institutions.
One of the program's key activities was a discussion session featuring the former president of the FaIS Student Union and a representative of USIM’s student leaders. The dialogue focused on the role of students in conducting extracurricular initiatives, advancing community development, and fostering mutual understanding and strong bonds between students of both universities. This exchange program marks a significant step in enhancing communication skills and learning experiences within an international context, while also providing students with valuable insights and networks to advance their academic and social potential as they prepare to become global citizens, InshaAllah.
Additionally, FaIS extends its heartfelt concern and prayers to those affected by the recent floods in Southern Thailand. May Allah grant strength, resilience, and assistance to all those impacted. Ameen.
