Invitation to the 2025 Graduate Student Orientation Program

The Faculty of Islamic Sciences, Prince of Songkla University, Pattani Campus, cordially invites all faculty members, staff, and graduate students to participate in the Graduate Student Orientation Program for the Academic Year 2025

to be held on 21–22 June 2025, from 08:30 AM to 04:30 PM
at Imam Al-Ghazali Conference Room, Faculty of Islamic Sciences, PSU Pattani.

This event is designed to help new graduate students understand academic life at the graduate level, strengthen relationships with advisors, introduce available academic support services, and prepare for future research success.

The two-day event features a wide range of engaging activities, including:

Saturday, 21 June 2025

-Registration and welcome address by the Dean of the Faculty
-Introduction to all three graduate programs by their respective program chairs
-Overview of the Graduate School Management System (GSMS) and academic procedures
-Meet with program advisors in breakout rooms
-Program-specific sessions and IEAMP Family activities led by senior students: Talk: “How to Graduate in 1.5 Years with Quality”, Peer mentoring setup, Designing an Individual Development Plan (ID Plan)

Sunday, 22 June 2025

-Thesis/independent study progress presentations (3–5 minutes per student)
-Presentation of Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs) and Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs) for Year 1 and Year 2 courses
-Mentor–Mentee Activities with academic mentors and experts, including: Policy thinkers, Strategic education planners, Educational innovators, Experts in multicultural education, educational technology, and Islamic education business
-Closing reflections by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nilar Waeseng
-Official closing ceremony by Asst. Prof. Dr. Abdulhakim Hengpiya
