Director of the Center for Islamic Economics and Finance, FaIS, along with the IDB delegation, paid a courtesy visit to the President of the Parliament and the Speaker of the House of Representatives at the Thai Parliament Building on June 28, 2024.
On June 28, 2024, Professor Dr. Zakariya Hama, the Director of the Center for Islamic Economics and Finance at the Faculty of Islamic Sciences, along with a delegation from the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) under the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), paid a courtesy visit to His Excellency Wan Muhamad Noor Matha, President of the National Assembly and Speaker of the House of Representatives, at the Thai Parliament building. The purpose of the visit was to introduce the Center for Islamic Economics and Finance, Faculty of Islamic Sciences, Prince of Songkla University, and to discuss collaborative projects between the Center and the Islamic Development Bank aimed at developing waqf and Islamic finance activities in Thailand.
